Clay Jewelry with Heather Snow - 3 Weeks - Afternoons

Make your own ceramic jewelry with artist Heather Snow. Learn how to create unique beads and pendants from clay to use in jewelry designs. Explore different texture and surface finishes and use underglaze, glaze and post-firing finishes to achieve your desired look.
On our final class, students will assemble their handmade pieces using assortment of metal findings and leather cord to make it your own!
Schedule
Week 1: Design & Construct
Learn how to work with clay to achieve delicate and intricate shapes to use for earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Make both textured and blank pieces to be decorated.
Week 2: Decorate
Decorate pieces with glaze and underglaze with as much detail as you'd like, making one-of-a-kind works of art to wear.
Bring it all together by making final pieces that incorporate metal findings, leather and additional glass beads.
