Let's practice our throwing (and trimming!) skills to perfect our centering and try out different forms.

• Learn and practice multiple days on the potter’s wheel, practicing the basics, and turning them into various different shapes and forms
• Trim your work and learn techniques to add handles, spouts and embellishments
• Decorate your pieces with glaze combinations and handpainting with underglaze

Class Schedule

Week 1 -5: Throwing & Trimming
We will jump on the wheel and practice making bowls and cylinders, that can be turned into just about anything! Alternating weeks we will learn how to trim various shapes and how to add handles, spouts and decoration.

[We take a 1 week break in order to prepare for the glaze class]

Week 6: Glaze
Learn how to prepare pots for glazing and experiment with different colour combinations and techniques. All your pieces will come out of the kiln food-safe and ready to use!
