This 8-week class (+ 1 bonus class on Week 9!) is designed to dive deeper into pottery, to hone your skills and be part of every step of the pottery process.

• Learn how to throw new forms
• Explore advanced methods, such as making lidded vessels
• Spend more time exploring glaze combinations
• Build your own experience and follow your curiosity!
• Lots of time for practice, practice, practice!

Class Schedule

Week 1 – 8: Learn and Practice
Each class with a demo on the wheel to add to you toolbox. Spend the class learning and practicing with one-on-one support.

But we keep things flexible! If you have another project in mind, then you're not restricted to that day’s lesson. You're encouraged to build your own experience with whatever you want to make. No matter how challenging, we'll help you devise a plan and then make it happen!

Week 4 + 7: Glaze Days
We try to schedule a bisque load roughly twice throughout the 8-week class so we can learn new decorating techniques and experiment with new glaze combos. That way, you’ll also get to see what works for the final glaze class!
